How Vein Disease Treatment in NJ is Making the World a Better Place

The world is full of men and women who feel tired, uncomfortable, and run down due to vein disease. It’s no surprise: poorly circulating blood can make a person feel sore, swollen, and uncomfortable. If left untreated, this issue may eventually lead to serious complications. Fortunately, vein disease treatment in NJ is available to correct improperly functioning veins. For people suffering from vein disease, these treatments truly make the world a better place.
What are the benefits of vein disease treatment in NJ?
Vein disease treatment falls into two major categories: lifestyle changes that help encourage proper vein function and surgical procedures that correct or eliminate abnormal blood flow. Both types of treatment can improve a patient’s life, but the benefits happen in different ways.

Most Bergen County vein specialists (including Dr. John Chuback) encourage many patients to consider lifestyle changes before undergoing venous procedures. This strategy, known as conservative treatment, focuses on actions that both support the vascular system and improve overall health. As an example, one of the most common lifestyle factors that lead to vein disease is living a sedentary lifestyle. As part of a conservative treatment regimen, you may be encouraged to exercise on a regular basis. Your doctor may also assist you in managing your weight, finding compression stockings, and devising strategies to reduce the impact of a standing occupation. All of these changes can improve your vein health, and they can also have a positive effect on your overall health and wellbeing.

As beneficial as conservative treatment is, it is not enough to get rid of existing varicose veins. In this case, surgical vein disease treatment in NJ may be the best option. The word “surgical” often brings to mind impersonal hospital rooms and arduous procedures, but modern vein treatment couldn’t be farther from cold and uncomfortable. Today’s vein treatments are considered minimally invasive. This means they do not require many surgical incisions or general anesthesia. Instead, vein disease is treated with the use of a very small catheter (in the case of endovenous laser treatment) or a series of tiny “micro-incisions” (in the case of ambulatory phlebectomy). This minimally invasive nature ensures that patients have a safe, comfortable, and virtually pain-free experience.

Another benefit of minimally invasive vein treatment is that it can be completed quickly. Today’s busy world makes it difficult to take time out for medical procedures, but vein treatment does not require anyone to miss out. Most procedures can be completed in as little as an hour, and recovery times are extremely brief. Many patients are able to return to their daily routine soon after their procedure is over, making it easy to work vein disease treatment in NJ into even the busiest of lifestyle.

All of these benefits make vein treatment a worthwhile choice for millions of men and women. These treatments can enable you to live a healthier, more comfortable life, truly making the world a better place. At Chuback Medical Group we are committed to ensuring you receive the quality vein care that you deserve.
