The Holiday Makeover Essentials Timeline

The holiday season is upon us and soon we will be racing around trying to fulfill all our obligations. I know this time of year can be extremely hectic and I didn’t want you to forget about the most important thing – YOU! To keep you on track with your makeover essentials, I put together a simple timeline of a few necessary items to ensure that you are looking and feeling your best this holiday season!

Chemical peel treatments in New Jersey are holiday makeover essentials

Week 1 – Dermaplane and Chemical Peel

We need to start with a really good exfoliation! Removing that top layer of dull, expired skin will smooth out texture and even out skin tone! Your holiday make-up will look flawless! I like to do this well ahead of time because exfoliation can often lead to redness, dryness and even a temporary breakout. You don’t want to be dealing with a blemish during your holiday festivities so its important to give the skin some time to recover before the big day.

Holiday makeover essentials include injectable fillers like Juvederm

Week 2 – Cosmetic Filler

Now is the time to take care of any volume loss that you may be concerned about. A little cheek augmentation will turn back the hands of time and give you that needed pick me up! And it’s a great time to plump those lips and get them mistletoe ready! With any filler, you will have to contend with a few days of swelling so giving yourself a few weeks before Christmas and New Years is definitely a good idea!

Botox treatments in Paramus, NJ are holiday makeover essentials

Week 3 – Botox

Break out the neurotoxin! Now that you’ve evened out skin tone and texture and added a little volume back to all the right places, it just makes sense to treat the remaining fine lines and wrinkles you see in the brow, forehead and around the eyes! Botox is a quick and easy treatment that will leave you looking completely refreshed. There will be absolutely no evidence of any holiday stress on that face! Neurotoxins take approximately 7 days to take effect so they will be working just in time for the festivities!

PRP facial or vampire facial treatments in Paramus, NJ are holiday makeover essentials

Week 4 – PRP Facial

Its time for the finishing touch with a PRP facial! This microneedling treatment combined with Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) will hydrate the skin, soften lines, shrink pores, smooth texture and even out skin tone. A PRP facial will leave you with an amazing glow that even your in-laws will compliment you on! There is no downtime with this treatment so it can be performed just a few days before a big event or holiday party!

We are CoolSculpting Paramus!

Week 5 – Coolsculpting

Reality sets in! We enjoyed all the holiday parties and definitely overindulged with good food and refreshments! Now it’s time to make some New Year resolutions and start getting ready for the warmer months. Coolsculpting is the perfect option for all your body contouring needs. It will take approximately 3-6 months to see optimal results so there is no time to waste! Beach bodies are made in the winter!

Surgical Fat Removal vs. Targeted CoolSculpting

I’m sure there are many of you out there that, despite your busy lives, are still getting out to the gym regularly and doing your best to eat a healthy diet.

Unfortunately, sometimes no matter what we do, there are still certain areas on our body that just cannot seem to tone.

It can be frustrating after all the work and effort we put in that we don’t see the results we hope for. Whether it’s still that bit of fat on the stomach or arms, or possibly a little more chin than we would like, we wish there was some miracle treatment that could target those particular areas without surgery.

Surgical Fat Removal

Fat removal through surgery has its pros and cons. Liposuction can quickly remove up to 11 pounds of fat in one session. For extreme cases, to quickly reach the desired look, surgical fat removal is the way to go.

There may be cases where fat may need to be extracted from one area of the body and injected into another like the Brazilian Butt Lift. For this case, surgery is required.

There are downtime and pain associated with surgical fat removal. The procedures themselves are generally invasive or minimally invasive depending on the desired results.

Compression garments are required for up to two months after surgery to prevent swelling in the treated area. Normal activity can commence after two or more weeks post-surgery.

Patients will also be required to take antibiotics for some time after surgery to prevent infection and possibly pain medication to maintain comfort during healing.

With downtime and discomfort being relative to the desired result, you can see why Liposuction and other surgical fat removal procedures may not be for everyone.

Non-Surgical Fat Removal…What is CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting | The non-surgical fat loss option

Cryolipolysis also referred to as CoolSculpting, is a treatment that freezes those stubborn pockets of fat. Your body is then able to metabolize and eliminate them permanently from your body.

CoolSculpting is an excellent option for those of us who are wanting to see the results without having to resort to the possible complications and recovery time of having surgical fat removal.

CoolSculpting has also been FDA-cleared to treat many parts of the body, such as under the chin and jawline, thighs, abdomen, flanks, inner and outer thighs, and the banana roll, the area under the buttocks.

The fat cells freeze at a higher temperature than the surrounding tissue, which prevents your skin or nerves from being damaged in any way.

CoolSculpting in New Jersey

The treatment is entirely non-surgical and non-invasive with each session lasting no more than an hour. Most people use this time to read, get a little work done on their laptop, or even catch a nap.

Few will momentarily feel some pressure and intense cold during the treatment, and others may temporarily feel mild discomfort or numbness in the treated area afterward.

Usually, full results are seen two months after the treatment with some seeing a difference as quickly as three weeks after. And, your body will continue to flush out fat cells for up to six months later.

The Targeted Transformation

The number of Coolsculpting treatments you may need depends on your desired results, but with each treatment being less than an hour and without requiring any recovery time, it’s easy to fit into a busy schedule.

During a consultation, our CoolSculpting professional helps patients assess areas of concern and their long-term body shaping goals. Those areas will be mapped out, and a treatment plan will be formed.

Considering CoolSculpting of the abdomen, there are various pockets of fat that surround the area. In most cases, you can see a diamond-shaped pattern when mapping this part of the body.

woman streaky belly

This plan would normally consist of four CoolSculpting cycles. Two or more sessions may be required to reach the desired look depending on the amount of subdermal fat in the area.

Once the area is cleared of the unwanted fat, and with continued diet and exercise, the targeted transformation can take place.

Conclusion

While surgery works in some cases, there is a non-invasive alternative to body contouring. If you are currently exercising, consuming proper nutrition, and looking to remove some unwanted fat in select areas of the body, CoolSculpting is “little black dress”-approved!

CoolSculpting – Treatment to Transformation

We all have busy lives. Within that busy schedule, we make time for proper nutrition and exercise. We do our best and that’s what counts, but even our best is sometimes no match for stubborn pockets of fat that don’t go away, no matter what we do!

What if we could take less than an hour to target these areas of concern and let our bodies get rid of the fat – with literally no physical effort…

Through the non-invasive, non-surgical treatment of CoolSculpting, thousands of people have permanently removed unwanted fat from those areas of concern on their bodies.

CoolSculpting is a procedure that freezes fat cells for a period of 30-40 minutes, turning them from white fat cells into easy to burn brown fat cells. Brown fat cells are our bodies response to cold temperatures, and lucky for us are much easier to burn that white fat. These cells, regardless of being triggered by an icy treatment, melt away permanently from your body.

CoolSculpting in Paramus, NJ

For some, one treatment on let’s say the underarms is effective enough to see desired results, however, there are many who require a more extensive treatment plan consisting of more than one cycle in a targeted area over time.

Treat to Transform with CoolSculpting

Treatment to Transformation is our process of using more than one CoolSculpting treatment over a period of time (usually a couple of weeks) to shape the body and burn fat cells when there is a greater treatment area to work with.

You can have a complete body transformation, from arms to thighs, with the Treatment to Transformation program. Within a full treatment plan, we will discuss your areas of concern, map out a series of treatments and follow through shaping your body along the way.

We use Targeted Transformation to focus on one area at a time. These FDA-cleared areas of the body are isolated with four or more CoolSculpting cycles planned over a period of time. For example, Targeted Transformation on the abdomen could consist of four cycles along the upper and lower abdomen, two or more times (a total of 8 to 12 cycles).

Targeting a large area in that way assures that we are freezing away the fat, shaping that area of concern and really focusing on significant results.

And remember – results are permanent, however, you need to continue to eat healthier and stay active in order to prevent your body from building new fat cells. You’ve got this!

If you’re worried if the freezing technique used in CoolSculpting will damage your skin and tissues, especially when having more than one treatment scheduled, you can rest at ease. The lowest temperature a CoolSculpting machine will go in order to burn fat cells in the best range is just above the freezing mark. This specific temperature targets the fat without damaging the skin.

Stop covering up your areas of concern and start enjoying the way you look. This summer is the best time to come in for a consultation to discuss the best treatment for your body type.

Hairline Tattoos – Everything You Need to Know

So, you’re noticing that your hair is getting a little thinner, or your hairline is a bit farther back than it used to be, and you’re wondering the best way to correct the issue. With so many different methods from surgery to medication, it’s hard to know the treatment that would best suit you.

With around two-thirds of men seeing their hair thinner by age 35, around 85% by age 50, you are certainly not alone. One treatment that is becoming increasingly popular is Hairline Tattoos, also known as Scalp Micropigmentation.

This technique creates the illusion of fuller hair through the use of tattoos on the scalp. It also works to cover scars or hair loss due to alopecia and is also an option for women experiencing thinning of the hair.

Hairline Tattoos for a Clean Hairline

If you currently have a receding hairline and are used to wearing the shaved head, a hairline tattoo will blend in perfectly with the stubble that naturally grows on your head. How? A trained technician uses a microneedle, which is much smaller than a regular tattoo needle, to recreate the look of hair follicles by injecting pigment into the scalp.

When creating the hairline tattoo, the technician only goes down two levels of skin as opposed to a regular tattoo which goes through five layers. It is done this way to keep it looking more natural by preventing the ink from spreading and losing its shape.

The color will be matched carefully to your natural hair color with some strands a shade darker to create the illusion of a shadow and make the appearance more three-dimensional.

Most patients need to go for two to three sessions depending on the severity of the hair loss.

What is the process of Scalp Micropigmentation?

If you are thinking that Scalp Micropigmentation may be the solution you have been hoping for, you, of course, are going to want to make sure you have the best in the field to do the procedure. It is very important to do your research and find a fully certified Scalp Micropigmentation expert who has had plenty of training and experience. Here is what you can expect once you have found an experienced practitioner.

  • First session: You will meet with the practitioner for an initial consultation to go over your options and figure out the style that will work best for you. They will also be able to answer any questions you may have.
  • First treatment: This usually takes around 3-4 hours and creates the foundation for your new look. The technician uses an advanced computer-controlled system to guarantee that the ink is applied consistently across the scalp.
  • Second treatment: Done at least six days later to be sure that the first treatment of ink has settled. This treatment is when the technician will fill in all the minor details and usually does not take as much time as the first treatment.
  • Third treatment: Normally a third treatment is not needed unless you are wanting to go darker.

What to Expect after a Hairline Tattoo

There are very little side effects from having Scalp Micropigmentation done. Most just experience some redness and scabbing and do not need to take time from work.

You should not wash or touch your scalp and avoid activities which may cause sweating for four days after treatment.

The redness is normally gone in two to three days and the entire healing process within about seven days. The pigments usually take about a month to settle in.

We hope this will be helpful for making your decision on how to conquer your hair loss. If you’d like to find out more about the process, reach out to one of our team members today.

Hair Transplants Then and Now

HAIR! Whether we spend time washing it, shaving it, or styling it, most people are very aware of the hair all over their own body.

Hair, especially on the top of the head, is an important part of how people chose to present themselves. It is associated with beauty and good looks, and those who lose their hair tend to lose some confidence as well.

Luckily, thanks to modern science, technology, and medicine, people DON’T have to lose their hair anymore!

As the solution to the balding process still remains a mystery to scientists, hair transplants have become extremely popular in recent times as a remedy to hair loss.

In this video, BBC Earth Lab discusses the various hair transplantation techniques in detail and explains science hair loss.

Our entire bodies possess the ability to grow hair, besides a few spots like our lips, palm of our hands, and soles of our feet and the hair on all areas of the body grows the same.

All hairs have a hair follicle, which is where hairs increase overtime in length. Naturally, hairs do fall out and are replaced by new ones. Unfortunately, for some people, hairs in certain areas stop growing and never replace themselves.

There are a number of causes that could stop hairs from growing. It could be due to a major trauma which would leave scar tissue without follicles. More commonly, the follicles seem to just simply stop growing hair.

A hormone called dihydrotestosterone, also known as DHT, seems to interfere with the hair follicles and stop them from growing hair. This type of hair loss is referred to as alopecia.

The enzyme 5-alpha-reductase (5-AR) converts testosterone into DHT and about 10% of testosterone is usually converted into DHT. Both men and women can have alopecia; however, it is more common amongst men.

Men naturally produce more testosterone, therefore it makes sense that they would be more commonly affected. In fact, this type of hair loss is most commonly known as male pattern baldness.

Hair transplants have become increasingly popular over the years, and they offer a solution to those that are losing their hair. Not only are the hair strands transplanted, but healthy hair follicles as well.

Back in the 1950s, doctors discovered that it was possible to successfully remove a hair follicle from one area of the body and transplant it to another area. They also discovered that around the back and sides of the head exits a “safe zone” of permanent hair growth that is not affected by the alopecia and holds many healthy follicles that can be used for transplantation.

The first type of hair transplants used what are called “plugs.”

Surgeons would remove small patches of skin that had about 20 follicles each and then insert these plugs into the bald area. This often left patients with unnatural looking hair.

In the last few decades, hair transplantation procedures have greatly improved. Rather than moving 20 follicles together at once, hair transplants now entail moving just one or two follicles, or follicular units, at a time.

There are two popular transplantation methods in which this occurs.

The first method is called Follicular Unit Transplantation, also known as the Strip Method. It involves removing a strip of skin from the safe zone along the back of the head. This strip is then cut and sliced into individual follicles.

Next, these follicular units are inserted into small slits that were made on the bald area of the head.

The other popular method is called Follicular Unit Extraction. This technique uses a tool to cut around individual follicular units and just remove that very small piece, leaving the rest of the skin intact. These follicular units are typically taken from the safe zone as well.

These cuts leave very tiny circular holes that will heal and barely leave any scarring. Then these individual units are inserted into the small slits that were made on the bald area of the head.

Hair Loss Causes and Treatments

Let’s face it, hair loss is a sore subject for those who suffer from it. It can change the way we feel about ourselves.

Treating hair loss is similar to solving any sort of problem. It is important to understand the problem before trying out a solution.

Hair Loss Causes and Misconceptions

There are many types of hair loss as well as many misconceptions when it comes to what causes them.

In this video, Debunked puts together an extensive list of hair loss types and puts to rest some popular misconceptions to why this hair loss happens.

Receding hairlines, bald spots on the top of the head, and thinning hair all fall under the name Androgenetic Alopecia or pattern hair loss.

As Debunked reports, having sex and high levels of testosterone DO NOT cause pattern hair loss.

The culprit in this scenario is actually a chemical called dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which is converted from testosterone, which is essential for growing body hair, developing muscle mass, and forming a deep voice.

Adversely, DHT is responsible for causing the shrinking of the hair follicles in the scalp which also causes this pattern hair loss.

This condition is generally hereditary and can come from mothers and fathers alike.

Another general misconception states that applying styling products to hair, washing hair often and even drying hair with a towel will cause a person to be susceptible to balding. These misconceptions are untrue.

While applying large amounts of product to hair without washing it out can cause damage to the hair shaft itself, the product is not making its way to the follicle. Even if the product was applied to the scalp and massaged in, it would not cause balding; however, applying the product to the scalp in this fashion could cause the scalp to be irritated and dry.

Washing hair every day does not cause balding either. The worst-case scenario is that you will damage the actual hair shaft itself by constantly, aggressively drying the hair with a towel. You could also cause the scalp to become dry and flaky. These conditions are easily treatable by switching to a milder shampoo, applying conditioner to the hair, and blow-drying hair in a continuous manner versus towel drying.

Stress and trauma also do not have an effect on pattern hair loss but could trigger an auto-immune disease called Alopecia Areata.

This form of Alopecia is responsible for hair loss in seemingly random circular patches on the scalp, face, and body. Little clinical evidence shows a connection to stress and Alopecia Areata hair loss. Some other factors to collectively consider include:

• Hormones
• Viruses
• Allergies
• Toxins

When these factors combine, they could trigger the disease. Thankfully, four out of five patients recover from Alopecia Areata with no signs of ever losing the hair in the first place.

It’s not to say stress doesn’t cause hair loss at all. In fact, stress and trauma can send our bodies into survival mode where the body shuts down non-essential processes for life which includes hair growth. Since hair growth is cyclical, if that cycle is disrupted, a large amount of shedding can occur which would give the appearance of hair loss.

What can be done about Hair Loss?

Now that we know what does and doesn’t cause hair loss, we can effectively treat the problem.

The Beginner’s Guide to Platelet-Rich Plasma Treatment for Hair Loss

“Am I going bald?”

If you’re asking yourself this question, you should know that it’s asked more often than you think and that you aren’t alone.

Pattern baldness is a genetic condition that predisposes you to hair loss and affects more than 60% of men and millions of women throughout the U.S.

So, what exactly are the true early signs of pattern baldness?

  • Thinning hair
  • Changes in your hairline
  • Above-normal hair loss after showering and brushing your hair

Balding may be natural, but modern technology has made it optional. If early signs of hair loss are affecting your physical appearance, emotional state, self-identity, etc., it’s time to seek a solution.

If you aren’t fond of scalpels and are looking for a less invasive hair restoration treatment, you need to learn about PRP therapy.

Clinical research proves that Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy, a non-surgical method of managing hair loss, is cost-effective and provides a high-level of patient satisfaction.

What is Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)?

In essence, it’s blood therapy.

Although it’s emerging as a hair loss treatment, PRP has been respected in the medical community as a healing treatment for injuries for quite some time.

Before you understand how PRP therapy works, you need to know that your blood is made up of plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.

Platelets are the compounds that drive the effects of PRP therapy since they contain several proteins – called growth factors – that promote healing.

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is blood that contains five to ten times the normal amount of platelets. To develop PRP plasma, your hair loss specialist will begin by drawing your blood.

Then, the blood sample will undergo a process called centrifugation that separates the platelets from blood, concentrating them.

The PRP Therapy Four-Step Treatment Process

When PRP is used as a treatment for hair loss, it is a four-step process:

Step 1: Blood is drawn, usually from your arm.

Step 2: The collection is processed via centrifugation and separates your blood sample into its components: plasma, platelets, and cells

Step 3: The platelets are then separated out with some plasma creating platelet-rich plasma.

Step 4: This PRP gets injected into your scalp to promote hair growth in thinning areas.

Here at Contemporary Hair Transplant, we use a state of the art PRP system specifically designed to consistently yield a high concentration of platelets in our PRP.

PRP is a non-invasive hair restoration treatment that combats early signs of male or female pattern hair loss by stimulating better hair growth in affected areas.

PRP Hair Loss Therapy Efficacy

If you’re starting to see early signs of hair loss, PRP is likely a fitting hair loss treatment for you because it works best on patients whose hair loss is not advanced and there is still some hair growing. It will not work on completely bald areas.

During PRP therapy, You will receive up to 3 treatments once every 2 months, then annual maintenance. Your treatment will depend on several factors that include the severity of your baldness, genetics, age, etc.

Although PRP therapy is an emerging treatment that is not yet FDA approved, its’ efficacy as a hair loss treatment has been demonstrated in several studies.

Of course, you won’t be 100% sure PRP is the proper hair restoration treatment until you schedule a consultation and receive an examination from a hair loss specialist.

The Value of Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy to Treat Hair Loss

If you are in the early stages of male or female pattern baldness, PRP therapy is an effective treatment to consider.

Surgeons report seeing 30% new hair growth in their PRP therapy patients and it is highly regarded in the medical community.

Platelet-Rich Plasma is an effective hair restoration treatment that is also:

  • Non-surgical
  • Affordable
  • Has little to no side effects

It’s the best of all worlds if you’re being proactive about your hair loss and want an early treatment to catch your pattern baldness in time.

Bottom line: If your hair loss has got you down but has still not progressed to the point where you require hair transplant surgery, schedule your Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy consultation.

The earlier you seek treatment, the better. The more your balding progresses, the more likely you will have to undergo invasive hair restoration procedures.

What is FUE Hair Transplant Surgery and Why Is It for Me?

Follicular Unit Extraction is a hair transplant technique where tiny follicular bundles – ranging 1-4 hair follicles per graft – are harvested from the donor area and subsequently implanted one by one into the affected area(s).

FUE is a newer procedure than Strip Harvesting and has been practiced in the hair transplant community for nearly a decade.

Both hair transplant techniques produce near equal results in terms of:

  • Naturalness
  • Graft yield
  • Session size

Overall, FUE is a minimally invasive hair transplant option.

Three Signs FUE Maybe the Best Hair Transplant Option for You

1 – You’re a Man

Surgeons will shave your head pre-operation if you decide on an FUE Hair Transplant. Strip Harvesting does not require that a surgeon shave your head, which is why women opt for the traditional technique.

FUE has proven very effective with Caucasian and Asian Hair, but Strip Harvesting remains the more efficient technique for African American men.

2 – You Like to Wear Your Hair in a Short Cut

Strip Harvesting will leave a linear scar on the back of your head. With FUE, tiny dot scars- the size of individual 1-4 hair follicle bundles – will be left throughout the donor regions of the scalp, invisible to the naked eye even if you sport a short cut.

This cosmetic formality is why most FUE patients choose the procedure over Strip Harvesting.

3 – You’re Willing to Pay More

The industry norm is that FUE is more expensive than Strip Harvesting. This is because FUE is the more labor-intensive procedure for surgeons.

That said, keep the following factors in mind:

  • No sutures are required
  • Post-op is less intensive
  • Minimal tiny dot scarring

Via FUE hair transplant, your surgeon has more control over placement of follicular bundles, where they are grafted, at what angle, as well as which follicular bundles to graft.

How Are You Affected by Hair Loss?

Everyone is uniquely affected by their hair loss.

For some it becomes a source of continual anxiety, depression, and creates issues with self-esteem and identity. Others brush it off and take the “baldis better” approach.

At the end of the day, it’s your life and only you know how affected you are by your hair loss. If it’s negatively impacting how you feel, as well as how you look, it’s likely the opportune time to take action.

FUE hair transplant is a minimally invasive procedure that can solve your balding woes, for good.

The question you need to ask yourself is this, “What are you going to do about your hair loss?”

PRP Hair Therapy — The Anti-Aging Tool That Helps Thinning Hair and Gives You a Youthful Glow

Getting old can take a toll on your looks, affecting both hair and skin.

Typically, both men and women suffer from thinning hair as they age, with nearly 80 million people in the United States alone finding their locks a bit lackluster.

The most common cause of thinning hair is Androgenic Alopecia:

  • Male Pattern Baldness and Female Pattern Baldness are forms of Androgenic Alopecia
  • It is also known as Androgenetic Alopecia

And faces?

Most people notice the following predictable signs of aging in their faces over time:

  • Crow’s feet
  • Lines around the lips
  • Depressions around the mouth and nose
  • Volume loss
  • Dehydrated skin
  • Loss of skin tone and texture

Many people struggle with their changing looks as they age. Although aging is a natural process, you can control it to some extent.

How Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Can Benefit Your Hair and Face

Don’t let age keep you from wanting to look in the mirror. PRP is a modern way to combat thinning hair and aging skin that’s simple and effective when performed by a skilled professional.

What is PRP?

PRP has been in frequent medical use since the 1980s when doctors began using it in open heart surgery and maxillofacial surgery. It has now been applied to multiple medical fields such as sports medicine, pain management, dentistry, and cosmetics.

Now, cutting-edge science has allowed us to harness its effectiveness to provide facial rejuvenation and hair restoration using the natural healing properties of your own blood.

In PRP, your blood is drawn as in a blood test. It’s run through a centrifuge machine to separate the platelets. The platelets have growth factors that nourish the skin of your scalp and face. The platelets, mixed with plasma from your blood, then can be applied to your skin and/or scalp.

PRP has been shown to stimulate growth of thinning hair follicles with minimal side-effects in randomized, placebo-controlled trials. This makes it a good solution for hair restoration, particularly for individuals just beginning to see hair loss.

As a therapy for facial rejuvenation, PRP shows remarkable ability to stimulate collagen production and repair skin on a cellular level, promoting a smoother, more youthful complexion.

Trust the Mommy Makeover Specialists with Your Tummy Tuck or Breast Lift

Are you tired of looking at your post-pregnancy body? Do you long for a slim waist and firm breasts that don’t sag on your chest?

If you’re ready to get rid of the sagging skin, the full belly, and the deflated, floppy breasts that have resulted from pregnancy and aging, then let the board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in Mommy Makeovers sculpt a fabulous new you.

How Can the Mommy Makeover Specialist Help Me?

A Mommy Makeover is more than just a procedure — it’s a dramatic, complete reshaping of your post-childbirth body. It typically involves a breast lift, often with augmentation, and a tummy tuck.

Breast Lift (Mastopexy)

Pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, age, and weight fluctuations can all take a toll on your once-perky breasts.

That’s no problem for the Mommy Makeover specialists.

A breast lift can correct that by getting rid of excess skin and tightening remaining skin to refashion your breasts back to a more youthful silhouette.

Women choosing breast lift procedures have increased 70% since 2000, a testament to the procedures’ satisfying results.

In addition, studies show breast enhancement surgery contributed to the well-being, self-confidence, and overall satisfaction of women who elected the procedure. If your breasts have lost volume as well, you may want to consider adding breast augmentation to your lift to create the most beautiful breasts possible.

Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)

A typical result of childbearing is the protruding “poochy” stomach that refuses to budge — regardless of diet or number of days spent in the gym. That’s because in many cases, the abdominal muscles have separated or are weakened and no amount of clean eating or exercise can set it right.

If you’re in Paramus, our New Jersey body contouring expert can restore or trim your abdomen by removing excess fat and skin and shoring up damaged muscles. Sometimes, even stretch marks can be removed or diminished through this procedure. Your abdominoplasty can be combined with liposuction on other problem areas you may want to address.

Best of all, the results are permanent, so the new, re-sculpted you is here to stay!

Our New Jersey Plastic Surgeon Will Help You Look Like a Million Bucks
